    Lt. Rebecca Smith, assigned to ERCS Bravo, gets report on a simulated patient from a point of injury (POI) team consisting of special operations independent duty corpsman (SOIDC) and NEMTI staff as part of the initial course implementation of En-route Care System (ECRS) as part of the Navy's Expeditionary Medicine System (EXMED), March 16. ERCS is one of the Navy’s expeditionary medicine capabilities that provides a ready, rapidly deployable and combat effective medical forces to improve survivability across the full spectrum of care, regardless of environment. and revised provides uninterrupted care during patient movement from the point of injury (POI) through Role 4 care without clinically compromising the patients’ condition. The Navy Medicine Operational Training Command (NMOTC) is the Navy’s leader in operational medicine and trains specialty providers for aviation, surface, submarine, expeditionary, and special operations communities.
