YOKOSUKA, Japan (April 3, 2024) – Information Systems 2nd Alexander Tomanelli, from Mansfield, Connecticut, prepares to be lowered into the water during Search and Rescue (SAR) training onboard U.S. 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19), April 3. Blue Ridge is the oldest operational ship in the Navy and, as the 7th Fleet command ship, actively works to foster relationships with allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific region.
