YOKOSUKA, Japan (April 3, 2024) – Information Systems Technician 2nd Class Alexander Tomanelli, from Mansfield, Connecticut, assigned to U.S. 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19) conducts Search and Rescue (SAR) training on Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka, April 3. Blue Ridge is the oldest operational ship in the Navy and, as the 7th Fleet command ship, actively works to foster relationships with allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific region.
