U.S. Army Sgt. First Class Sean Hokenstrom, assigned to the United States Special Forces Sniper Course, moves to the “TI-89” event on Galloway Range at Fort Moore, Ga., during the 2024 International Sniper Competition April 8, 2024. The International Sniper Competition, April 5-11, tests competitor teams’ ability to navigate a rigorous gauntlet of events including long-range marksmanship, observation skills, stealth movement, and reconnaissance and reporting ability. Competitors must have successfully passed the sniper course in the military occupational specialties of 11X Infantry Soldier, 19D Cavalry Scout, or 18X Special Forces to participate.
