North Fires is a bilateral exercise between the U.S. Army and Royal Saudi Land Forces that focuses on field artillery coordination. More than 100 Saudi and 100 U.S. troops participated in the exercise that consisted of academic sessions, planning sessions, and a culminating live fire focused primarily on the HIMARS or High Mobility Artillery Rocket System.
