Cpl. Nathaniel Stubblefield, technical engineer, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 16th Engineer Brigade, receives the award for the 2024 Ohio Army National Guard State Soldier of the Year at Camp James A. Garfield Joint Military Training Center in Newton Falls, Ohio, April 7, 2024. He was given the award after placing first in the 2024 Ohio Army National Guard State Best Warrior Competition for Soldiers, which consisted of a wide array of challenging and intensive events alongside other OHARNG Soldiers and partner forces from the Hungarian Defense Forces and Serbian Armed Forces.
