Sgt. John Ford, a native of Magnolia, Ark.,talks with Iraqi army soldiers with the 5th Battalion, 22nd Brigade, 6th Iraqi Division, while inspecting a checkpoint in Kadhamiyah, April 4. Coalition and Iraqi security forces continue to maintain a presence in Kadhamiyah where a week ago fighting broke out between coalition forces and special groups operating in the area. Ford serves with 4th Platoon, Company D, 1st Battalion, 502nd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad.
