U.S. Air Force 1st Lt. Xavier Kirksey, 3rd Air Expeditionary Wing deputy director of A4C, acts as an interpreter for a group of Airmen from the 3rd Air Expeditionary Wing conducting an airport site survey, April 12, 2024, Iōtō (Iwo To), Japan. The site survey took place to plan for future aircraft landing, further bolstering the relationship between Japan and the United States. This took place as part of Exercise Agile Reaper, encompassing the 3rd AEW, a force package made of personnel from the 3rd Wing, 673rd Air Base Wing, 176th Wing, 477th Fighter Group, all from Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, as well as units from the 15th Wing, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii and the 168th Wing, Eielson AFB, Alaska.
