U.S Navy Capt. (Dr.) Melissa Austin, director of Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, greets American Red Cross Chapter Board Members from Montgomery, Frederick, and Howard Counties inside the Rotunda in the Tower of Bldg. 1, on April 30, 2024.
During the visit of the American Red Cross Chapter board members, Austin expressed her deep appreciation for the good work they do.
Board members received a tour sharing an overview of Walter Reed, and were briefed on the status of Red Cross Service to the Armed Forces programming at Walter Reed, where they witnessed the Red Cross volunteers' work firsthand.
