U.S. Army LTG Michael Cederholm assigned to the 84th Engineer Battalion partakes in 3/557’s ribbon cutting ceremony for the newly opened Barangay Healthcare Clinic during Salaknib 24 at Fort Magsaysay, Philippines, April 21st to May 15th, 2024. These projects included clearing debris from the La-Lo Port, construction of a bridge, and the construction of a medical-storage warehouse. Salaknib is an annual exercise between the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the U.S. Military designed to strengthen bilateral interoperability, capabilities, trust, and cooperation built over decades of shared experiences.
