A member of the Air Force's Civil Engineer Maintenance Inspection and Repair Team Aircraft Arresting Systems overhauls a Barrier Arresting Kit-12 at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida. The BAK-12 is the standard Department of the Air Force aircraft arresting system for stopping tail hook-equipped fighter aircraft in the event of an emergency.
