A member of the Air Force's Civil Engineer Maintenance and Repair Team overhauls a Mobile Aircraft Arresting System, or MAAS, at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida. This flexible system allows for rapid installation of an arresting system on remote runways and can be installed on soil, asphalt or concrete. During the COVID-19 period of Jan. 2020 to Dec. 2021, the team produced nine systems. (U.S. Air Force photo by MSgt. Reminton Rendon)
