U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Trisha Guillebeau, 811th Force Support Squadron commander, sits in an emergency vehicle at the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Fire and Rescue Department during a tour at Dulles International Airport, Dulles, Va., April 30, 2024. The 811th FSS was invited to Dulles by their honorary commander, Tanisha Lewis, Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority vice president of diversity, inclusion and social impact, to gain insight on the necessary services of an airport and compare similarities with the services provided by a force support squadron. The goal of the Honorary Commander Program is to build strong relationships between military installations and their surrounding communities. Honorary commanders have the opportunity to attend wing and installation activities, share their unique perspectives as community leaders and showcase their own installations and activities to the military community.
