Cmdr. Michael Duffy departs Underwater Construction Team (UCT) 1's Change of Command ceremony, May 23, after Cmdr. Rory O’Boyle relieves him of his duties and responsibilities as the unit's commanding officer. Duffy extended gratitude for his Sailors during his two years with the unit. “To my team, I want to extend my deepest appreciation. Your unwavering commitment, resilience, and camaraderie have been the bedrock of our success, and it has been an incredible journey serving alongside such dedicated and skilled professionals.” UCT conducted more than 30 projects and 11 exercises across 16 countries in support of U.S. Fleet Forces Command and U.S. 6th Fleet during his tenure.
