(May 30, 2024) Mr. Karnig Ohannessian, Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Environment and Mission Readiness), center, visited Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC) to support on-going relationship with the seven federally recognized Native American Tribes associated with San Nicolas Island May 30, 2024. NBVC is a strategically located Naval installation composed of three operating facilities: Point Mugu, Port Hueneme and San Nicolas Island.
