Robert Barr Kimnach III, commanding officer, Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC), speak with tribal leaders during a visit to support on-going relationship with the seven federally recognized Native American Tribes associated with San Nicolas Island May 30, 2024. NBVC is a strategically located Naval installation composed of three operating facilities: Point Mugu, Port Hueneme and San Nicolas Island.
