U.S. Army combat medics assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters ‘Hold ‘Em’ Company, 2nd Cavalry Battalion, 12th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, work together with Polish service members to load a simulated casualty into a Polish medevac during a combat life-saving demonstration at Primary School Number 1 in Elk, Poland, June 7, 2024. Working together signifies the bond between NATO allies and the willingness of either country to aid the other in a time of need. The 1st Cavalry Division recognizes the importance of connecting with local communities throughout Europe. Through community engagements, our Leaders and Soldiers continue to strengthen the bonds between local communities and our U.S. forces. (U.S. Army photo by Spc. Kali Ecton)
