MACS-24 conducted daily air traffic control operations alongside Navy Tactical Air Control Squadron 21 in support of Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 167 during Distributed Aviation Operations Exercise (DAOEx) 24. DAOEx 24 is designed to distribute command and control of aviation forces across echelons of command, pushing authorities to the lowest levels, while keeping forces moving between airfields and air sites.
