U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Tim Edwards, carpentry and masonry specialist assigned to 1436th Engineering Company, 507th Engineering Battalion with the Michigan Army National Guard is removing old soffit from the building during annual training at Camp Grayling, Mich., June 11, 2024. Soffit keeps moisture away from the rafters reducing the chance of mold and helps preserve the life of the materials supporting the modernization and improvement of Camp Grayling Joint Maneuver Training Center facilities. Annual training is typically a 15-day training period that allows Soldiers to execute complex training plans to increase proficiency in unit essential tasks.
