REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE (June 13, 2024) U.S. Navy Lt. j.g. Sean Beaty uses a laser range finder while standing watch aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Russell (DDG 59) as the ship transits into the Republic of Singapore, June 13, 2024. Russell is in the Republic of Singapore for a scheduled port visit, supporting operational readiness and regional partnerships. Russell is assigned to Carrier Strike Group 9 and currently conducting routine operations in U.S. 7th Fleet in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific.
