U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Jhett Moyers, an intelligence surveillance reconnaissance systems engineer with command element, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, disassembles a field expedient antenna during a sensor expeditionary advance base operation, at Kin Blue Beach Training Area, Okinawa, Japan, June 19, 2024. The EAB operation reinforced Marines’ abilities to gather maritime and airspace intelligence by employing radars and relaying the information back to commanders. The 31st MEU, the Marine Corps’ only continuously forward-deployed MEU, provides a flexible and lethal force ready to perform a wide range of military operations as the premier crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific region. Moyers is a native of Wyoming. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Peter J. Eilen)
