    31st Marine Expeditionary Unit

U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Rafael Ceja, center, a signals intelligence and electronic warfare analyst with command element, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, utilizes 3dB Labs SCEPTRE software during a sensor expeditionary advance base operation, at Kin Blue Beach Training Area, Okinawa, Japan, June 19, 2024. The EAB operation reinforced Marines’ abilities to gather maritime and airspace intelligence by employing radars and relaying the information back to commanders. The 31st MEU, the Marine Corps’ only continuously forward-deployed MEU, provides a flexible and lethal force ready to perform a wide range of military operations as the premier crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific region. Ceja is a native of California. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Peter J. Eilen)
