U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Col. Robert Guyette, the Commanding Officer, with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 214, Marine Aircraft Group 13, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, taxis in an F-35B Lightning II aircraft to depart Royal Australian Air Force Base Tindal, NT, Australia, to join Marine Aviation Support Activity 24 in the Philippines, June 14, 2024. VMFA-214 flew four F-35B aircraft to Clark Air Base in support of the MASA 24 littoral live fire exercise, showcasing the Philippine-U.S. combined capabilities of operating fifth-generation aircraft in the region.
