U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Maj. Thomas Yeaman, the squadron sergeant major of Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 214, Marine Aircraft Group 13, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, observes pre-flight operations of four F-35B Lightning II aircraft before their departure from Royal Australian Air Force Base Tindal, NT, Australia, to join Marine Aviation Support Activity 24 in the Philippines, June 14, 2024. VMFA-214 flew four F-35B aircraft to Clark Air Base in support of the MASA 24 littoral live fire exercise, showcasing the Philippine-U.S. combined capabilities of operating fifth-generation aircraft in the region.
