Barnett inspects his troops for the last time and Brig. Gen. King inspects them for the first time during the 10th AAMDC, change of command ceremony, June 20, 2024 at Sembach Kaserne, Germany. The command's lineage dates from July 1, 1942 when it was first constitutes as the 10th Coast Artillery (Harbor Defense) at Fort Adams, Rhode Island.
