U.S. Army Lt. Col. Chris Masson, the commander of the 6th Battalion, 1st Security Force Assistance Brigade, fires his M17 pistol during a series of shooting drills as part of a training event held in Kerrville, Texas, June 3, 2024. The event was part of a week-long training exercise called Sustainer Forge was held from June 2-7, 2024. The exercise aimed to enhance the ability of the command's Advisors, based at Fort Moore, Ga., to work better with their geographically aligned partners.
