U.S. Army Capt. Anthony Bencosme, assigned to 6th Battalion, 1st Security Force Assistance Brigade, maneuvers through a pistol range as part of a series of shooting and marksmanship drills held in Kerrville, Texas, June 4, 2024. U.S. Army Advisors assigned to the 1st SFAB, based out of Fort Moore, Ga., honed their rifle and pistol marksmanship skills during Sustainer Forge to ensure readiness and capabilities when supporting Allied nations. Sustainer Forge, which took place from June 2-7, 2024, was a training event in which U.S. Army Advisors from the 1st SFAB took part in a series of exercises to validate their ability to integrate and work with Allied and partner forces.
