HALAWA, Hawaii (June 24, 2024) A Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Hawaii Rigger in support of Navy Closure Task Force-Red Hill (NCTF-RH), uses a forklift to move an aqueous film-forming foam (AFFF) tote to a truck for transport from the Red Hill Bulk Fuel Storage Facility (RHBFSF) in Halawa, Hawaii, June 24, 2024. Three 265-gallon totes of 3% AFFF Concentrate were transferred to Military Sealift Command for usage onboard ships in the fleet. Charged with the safe decommissioning of the RHBFSF, NCTF-RH was established by the Department of the Navy as a commitment to the community and the environment.
