Sgt. 1st Class Jackson Vassighi, a combat medic assigned to the 104th Medical Company (Area Support), welcomes members of the local Polish community during the Inaugural Polish-American Freedom Fest in Powidz, Poland July 4th, 2024. Community relations events between the military and local civilians, particularly in allied nations abroad, provide valuable opportunities for cultural exchange, allowing both groups to share traditions and better understand each other's way of life. The 1st Cavalry Division and Task Force Pegasus recognize the importance of connecting with local communities throughout Europe. Through community engagements, they continue to strengthen the bonds between local communities, assuring NATO allies of the partnership and cooperation. (U.S. Army photo by Pfc. Julian Winston)
