Local Polish community members serve food to attendees of the Inaugural Polish-American Freedom Fest in Powidz, Poland July 4th, 2024. The Morale Welfare and Recreation program organized this event to bring together the local community and foster a long-standing connection between the people of Powidz and U.S. Army Soldiers. The 1st Cavalry Division and Task Force Pegasus recognize the importance of connecting with local communities throughout Europe. Through community engagements, they continue to strengthen the bonds between local communities, assuring NATO allies of the partnership and cooperation. (U.S. Army photo by Pfc. Julian Winston)
