Mark Klein assumed command from Cmdr. Neil Toohey during the ceremony after serving as executive officer of HSC-25 from April 2023 to July 2024. HSC-25 ensures maritime peace and security in the U.S. 7th Fleet Area of Responsibility. HSC-25 maintains a 24-hour search and rescue and medical evacuation alert posture, directly supporting the U.S. Coast Guard Forces Micronesia/Sector Guam and Joint Region Marianas.
