Soldiers from the 1st Battalion, 487th Field Artillery, Hawaii Army National Guard, attached to the 2nd Battalion, 218th Field Artillery, Oregon Army National Guard conduct a live fire exercise with an M119A3 howitzer while at the Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) during JRTC rotation 24-09 at Fort Johnson, La., July 20, 2024. The 2-218th Field Artillery provides long range fire support to the Infantry Brigade Combat Team (IBCT) with both neutralization and suppression capabilities.
