U.S. Marines with III Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF) attach a winch to a Medium Tactical Vehicle Replacement during the Motor Transport Non-Commissioned Officer Operations Course (MTNCOOC) 4.5 on Camp Kinser, Okinawa, Japan, July 16, 2024. Marines attending the MTNCOOC 4.5 conducted self-recovery, flat towing and crew-served weapons training as part of the first Mobile Training Team aboard Okinawa, Japan, in support of III MEF Motor Transport Operations. The MTNCOOC 4.5 strengthens the Marine Corps’ ability to respond swiftly to any threat, and ensures an agile, lethal, and expeditionary force capable of operating in a distributed and contested environment.
