U.S. Marines with III Marine Expeditionary Force secure chains during the Motor Transport Non-Commissioned Officer Operations Course 4.5 on Camp Kinser, Okinawa, Japan, July 16, 2024. Marines attending the Motor Transport Non-Commissioned Officer Operations Course 4.5 conduct self-recovery, flat towing and crew serve weapons training as part of the first ever Mobile Training Team aboard Okinawa, Japan, in support of III MEF Motor Transport Operations. By consolidating resources, streamlining processes, and enhancing interoperability, the Motor Transport Non-Commissioned Officer Operations Course 4.5 strengthens the Marine Corps’ ability to respond swiftly to any threat, and ensures the Marine Corps remains an agile, lethal, and expeditionary force, capable of operating in a distributed and contested environment.
