U.S. Marine Corps recruits with Fox Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, prepare to conduct the tread portion of the water survival training class at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, California, July 23, 2024. Recruits are taught basic water survival prior to conducting their basic swim qualification.
