U.S. Marine Corps recruits with Bravo Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, receive a demonstration prior to conducting the introduction to the combat fitness test at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, California, July 24, 2024. The recruits were introduced to the CFT by conducting individual portions of the test. The CFT is an annual fitness test that is required of all Marines to pass and maintain consisting of an 880-yard sprint, ammunition can lifts, and a maneuver under fire drill.
