A U.S. Navy SH-60B Seahawk anti-submarine warfare helicopter, assigned to Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Light 37 (HSL-37) from Marine Corps Air Station Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii, flies in low to the tree tops as it approaches a landing zone while conducting joint hoist casualty evacuation training with soldiers from Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 14th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, Feb. 5, 2013, during exercise Warrior Spear at Schofield Barrack in Wahiawa, Hawaii. Warrior Spear is tough realistic training critical to soldier readiness. The exercise prepares company leaders to problem solve complex situations while maximizing the use of available assets to increase advantages during operations. Warrior Spear participants receive enabler integration and live fire training which are vital for soldiers to gain confidence in their training, their team members and their equipment.
