U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Emely C. Rivero, an aircraft avionics technician with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 262 (Rein.), 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, conducts maintenance on a CH-53E Super Stallion aboard the amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6) in the Philippine Sea on July 29, 2024. The Air Combat Element Marines with the MEU conduct maintenance on aircraft after flight operations to maintain the high operational tempo and keep the MEU ready for any mission.
