Coins from the South Carolina National Guard presented by U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Van McCarty, the adjutant general of South Carolina, to law enforcement officers from the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources during the Region 1 monthly meeting, July 16, 2024. McCarty, attended the meeting and presented coins and letters of appreciation to the officers in the recovery of Army Staff Sgt. Porsha Griffin from Lake Greenwood.
