Student nurses from the Okinawa Prefectural College of Nursing attend a luncheon at US Naval Hospital Okinawa with members of the 129th and 163d Medical Groups of the California Air National Guard, July 19, 2024. The event, part of the Naval Hospital's Civil Engagement Program, included a tour of the military medical facilities and work centers. During the luncheon, the nurses learned about the dual roles of Air National Guard members, who serve in various medical positions both in civilian life and in the military.
