A U.S. Airman assigned to the Mississippi Air National Guard load luggage into C-17 Globemaster for an exercise conducted by the 125th Medical Group Detachment 1 in Puerto Rico Aug. 8, 2024, at Jacksonville Air National Guard Base, Florida. The training exercise enhances air-load capabilities, refines pre- and post- deployment procedures, expands mission readiness in an unfamiliar environment, and fulfills Comprehensive Medical Readiness Plan requirements, including critical care, search and extraction, and Air Force Specialty Code proficiency training, while collaborating with the 156th Medical Group.
