Lucas Forsythe, an infantryman assigned to Charlie “Wild Card” Company, 2nd Battalion, 12th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, provides concealed cover during exercise Paladin Strike at Camp Adazi Training Area, Latvia, Aug. 5, 2024. By utilizing local foliage, facepaint, and Operational Camouflage Pattern, Forsythe can remain undetected until the enemy is within firing range during the exercise, which focuses on enhancing interoperability among NATO partners.
