U.S. Air Force Capt. Chon Kim, from Utica, N.Y., returns after a watercraft ride in the Persian Gulf near a Qatar general's beach home, April 20. The Qatar armed forces chief of staff invited over 400 service members to enjoy beach activities, water crafts, falcon exhibitions, camel rides, all-terrain vehicles and Arabic cuisine. "This is a dream come true," said Kim. "I never imagined coming to a beach party while serving in Southwest Asia. Everyone is having a great time - this was very generous of the general."
