    Personnel with the Quinault Indian Nation (QIN) Emergency Management Program complete a practical exercise as part of a land navigation course at Tunnel Island in Taholah, Wash., Aug. 7, 2024. A mobile training team with the Washington National Guard Western Regional Counterdrug Training Center taught students to identify terrain features on a map, plot grid locations, use a compass to determine magnetic and grid north, shoot an azimuth, and plan a route, culminating with a day and night practical exercise.
