NORFOLK, Va. (Aug. 16, 2024) Capt. Rick Burgess, second from left, commanding officer of the world’s largest aircraft carrier, USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78), and members of the United Service Organizations (USO), cut a ribbon to open the newly renovated officer's lounge, funded by the USO, Aug. 16, 2024. The USO raised money to upgrade various spaces aboard Ford to improve the quality of life and quality of service for the Sailors and crew aboard the ship.
