NORFOLK, Va. (Aug. 16, 2024) Capt. Rick Burgess, third from right, commanding officer of the world’s largest aircraft carrier, USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78), and members of the United Service Organizations (USO), cut a ribbon during a ceremony to open new USO spaces aboard the ship, Aug. 16, 2024. The USO raised money to upgrade various spaces aboard Ford to improve the quality of life and quality of service for the Sailors and crew aboard the ship.
