Military police Soldiers of 2nd squad, 2nd platoon, 401st Military Police Company, "Gunfighters," prepare to conduct precombat inspections at Camp Liberty, before rolling out on a police transition team mission that will take place at an Iraqi police station near Baghdad April 24. Precombat inspections are tool leaders use to make sure their Soldiers have the proper equipment before going out on a mission. The squad deployed from Fort Hood, Texas, has been training and building the Iraqi police force in Baghdad since arriving in Iraq a year ago.
