Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Germany (6 September 2024) - U.S. Army Garrison (USAG) Ansbach Commander, Col. Aaron Southard joined Lord Mayor of Rothenburg o. d. Tauber, Dr. Markus Naser, for its double anniversary celebration.
The city of Rothenburg honours its special heritage of 750 years of documented Imperial City status and 50 years of having the Imperial City festivities.
This event is a spectacular journey back in time that attracts visitors from near and far such as the Mayor of the city of Arlington, Texas, Mr. Jim Ross (in the middle). Rothenburg is the sister Christkindl market city of Arlington and on this evening both cities signed a partnership treaty promising to continuing and expand this friendship.
USAG Ansbach is a U.S. Army Power Projection Platform consisting of aviation, engineering, and artillery assets spread across nine kasernes in the heart of Middle Franconia, Germany.
