Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Germany (6 September 2024) - U.S. Army Garrison (USAG) Ansbach Commander, Col. Aaron Southard joined Lord Mayor of Rothenburg o. d. Tauber and 7th Army Training Command Good Neighbor recipient, Dr. Markus Naser, for its double anniversary celebration.
The city of Rothenburg honours its special heritage of 750 years of documented Imperial City status and 50 years of having the Imperial City festivities.
This event is a spectacular journey back in time that attracts visitors from near and far. Up to 30 different historical groups take part, setting up their camps throughout the city and offering guests a outstanding experience.
USAG Ansbach is a U.S. Army Power Projection Platform consisting of aviation, engineering, and artillery assets spread across nine kasernes in the heart of Middle Franconia, Germany.
