Oregon Army National Guard Soldier Sgt. Tanner York from 2nd Battalion, 162nd Infantry Regiment uses a riot shield and wooden baton during a simulated riot as part of the final day of a Culminating Training Exercise (CTE) at Fort Cavazos, Texas, Sept. 14, 2024. During their 3-week mobilization training, Soldiers sharpened their skills in riot control and medical evacuations via land and aircraft assets. The 41st IBCT is training for real-world scenarios in preparation for their upcoming deployment in support of Kosovo Forces as part of Operation Joint Guardian.
